Our Mission

Mission Statement

The mission of the TEACh3 program is to provide the community college student opportunities to explore teaching as a career, support to pursue that career and pathways to reach their goal.

TEACh3 contributes to the mission of Orange Coast College by enhancing student learning with an exemplary teacher development program that provides students with effective teaching practices and learning partnerships. TEACh3 creates a unique approach to a successful college experience through continued support and strong relationships between the student, faculty and staff.

The program goal for all TEACh3 students is that they finish the program and transfer into a university and/or credential program to become exceptional teachers and strong, articulate advocates for children, adolescents, and for education.
