MyOCC Information
| Prevent Your Blackboard Session From Timing Out |
While we are looking for a permanent solution to the issues with MyOCC, we want offer you a temporary work around. Once you have accessed your Blackboard course we recommend that you close the MyOCC window (not the Blackboard window) by clicking on the “X” on the top right of the window. (If you're using a Mac, this will be a red circle in the upper left corner.) Do not logout of MyOCC as this will also close your Blackboard session! If you do not close the MyOCC window you could be thrown out of Blackboard after 20 minutes.

| Session Already Running |
If you receive an error when clicking on your course in MyOCC that says "Session Already Running," you can prevent this error by taking the following measures.
Only click on one course in MyOCC. If you want to access another, do not close the Blackboard Vista window to return to your MyOCC course list. Instead, click the "My Blackboard" link from the top right corner of the course you are in. This will take you to your course list in Blackboard (instead of your course list in MyOCC) and will keep you in your current session, instead of attempting to start an additional session.
