Head Coach Sean Collins

Returning for his fourth season as skipper of the Pirates is Sean Collins.

In addition to his work at OCC, Collins has worked at the Costa Mesa Country Club for the past 15 years.
 
Collins began his career at CMCC working as the golf course service marshal. From there, he was promoted to shop assistant and then tournament director after becoming a member of the PGA of America in 2003.

Sean played in the state finals with the Long Beach City College men's golf team. After his stint at LBCC, Collins earned a golf scholarship to Cal State Dominguez Hills, where he earned his bachelor's degree.

Collins qualified for the U.S. Open Sectionals in 2001 and currently holds the course record on the Mesa Linda Course at CMCC with a 58.

In addition to his coaching time, Collins is also the director of the Costa Mesa Country Club Junior Golf Program.

Collins and his wife, Christina, live in Irvine with their two sons, Jacob and Brennan.
