Logging On To MyOCC to Access The Blackboard Vista Classroom Environment
Go to the Orange Coast Online Central site: http://www.orangecoastcollege.edu/academics/online_classes.
Locate and select the Log In link (see sample).
You will be prompted to enter your User Name and Password where it says "login now." Enter your information, and then click "Login."
Access Your Course
Now that you're logged in to MyOCC, click on the Student tab. Click on the link in the My Courses channel that says "Click here to:" (in red below).
This will take you to a list of your courses. From here you can click on each course to view the online classroom for the course.
Every class on campus has an online classroom available; the extent to which it is used is up to the instructor. Some courses are taught 100% online using Blackboard Vista, while others may just have a syllabus, and a few files for your reference. Click on your course to see what's available in your online classroom. Again, your online classroom will become available on the first day of the course at 8:00 a.m.
