Welcome to the Department of World Languages!

The mission of the Department of World Languages is to provide quality instruction in French, German, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, Spanish and Vietnamese in order to prepare students to function effectively in the global community, to transfer to institutions of higher education and to promote opportunities for self-enrichment and success in employment.

Our faculty is also committed to fostering appreciation of the history, culture and literature of the countries represented through a variety of academic and cultural activities, including study abroad programs.
