Classes in Astronomy at OCC offer students the opportunity to gain a better perspective about the solar system, stars, galaxies and the universe. While there are introductory astronomy courses, there are also courses that focus on more specific areas of study including: Planetary Astronomy, Stellar Astronomy, and Cosmology. The courses in the previous three areas (Astronomy 100L, 101, 102 and 103) are all transferable to both UC and CSU schools.
