Since moving to Orange County, she has taught at Orange Coast College, DeFore Dance Center, Academy for the Performing Arts, Huntington Beach High School, Orange County Song and Dance, and New Hope Academy of Gymnastics. She has choreographed musicals for OCC, Golden West College and Fullerton Civil Light Opera and co-directed the premiere of the critically acclaimed "Surfstory" at Newport Theater, a touring Christmas show for RCM Enterprises, Marie Callender's Golden Anniversary in Palm Springs and Lucent Technologies' presentation for the '98 Inter+Op Expo in Las Vegas.
Marie de la Palme has developed a physical training program geared towards the technical needs of dancers. Combining her knowledge of Pilates, Yoga and Floor Barre as well as her own discoveries, this method fosters maximum relaxation of the superficial muscles while training the deep muscular system for effortless efficiency, increasing elongation, balance and freedom of movement.
