Ecology
Ecology of the Gray Whale is a one unit, eight week long class designed to help students learn about the California Gray Whale.  By taking and completing this class, students can learn enough about   these fascinating migrators to qualify the student to be a docent aboard a whale watch vessel.  During the annual migration of the California Gray Whale, dozens of vessels set out each day taking thousands of people out to sea to observe this amazing natural phenomena.  Students who take this class and become whale watch docents can interpret for these whale watchers and inform them of the natural history of these remarkable cetaceans.
