Service Learning

Faculty Resources

Service learning is the incorporation of community service within the curriculum without loss of academic rigor. Although the application of this teaching technique is quite variable, service learning generally requires a direct connection with classroom work, clear community service, and student reflection upon the activity.

The Service Learning Office is available to answer your questions and assist you in adding a service learning component to your course.
