The Orange Coast College Theatre Arts Department has three modern and diverse theatres for it's use, giving students a full range of challenging theatre experiences.

Our main theatre, the Drama Lab, is a uniquely versatile modular theatre capable of just about any stage configuration imaginable. It's movable platforms and seating allows us to explore different staging to make eclectic designs possible. It also has a full lighting grid, moving catwalk, and state-of-the-art lighting system, which makes lighting easily accessible and very artistic.

Our most active theatre is the Drama Lab Studio. "The Studio" is an intimate, fifty seat black box. It is here that our students are free to experiment by producing, directing, acting, designing in our student run company the OCC repertory or "The Rep." It is a fully equipped off-off Broadway type space.

Our largest performing space is the Robert B. Moore Theatre. This beautiful, recently renovated theatre was designed by the world famous architect, Richard Neutra. It is a 916 seat theatre capable of full scale Broadway type shows, dance concerts, and symphony orchestras. It is here the Theatre Department performs special productions, such as a yearly Shakespeare performance, sellout children's theatre productions and summer musicals.
