Housing and Homestay OCC's International Center is responsible for housing information and services for all students.
All students have access to a current Apartment Listing for the surrounding area as well as a Housing Board* that includes rental listings for students seeking roommates or shared apartments.
Cards for advertising rooms for rent may be obtained through the International Center or to submit a card online click here. International Center will post your listing at no cost and are posted for a month period.
A Homestay program is another housing option for international students. Through this program, students are put in contact with interested host families in the area. Our goal is to provide guest and host with the opportunity to learn about each other's customs and lifestyles, and benefit from the contact in many different ways. Homestay placement is arranged once the student arrives at OCC.
If you are a current international student or have been accepted to OCC as an international student for an upcoming semester and are interested in applying for Homestay, you may download the Homestay application by clicking here and send it via fax (714-432-5191) or e-mail (sphonsiri@occ.cccd.edu) to Stephanie Phonsiri at the International Center.
OCC does not offer any on-campus accommodations at this time.
If you have any questions regarding Housing or Homestay please visit our FAQ page. You can also e-mail our office at intctr@cccd.edu.
*Orange Coast College does not review, inspect or recommend any of the listings that are posted. Students should be aware that the postings may be made by any person in the community, and not just OCC students. It is the responsibility of the student to interview all potential roommates and make arrangements for rent charges.
