Staff Development Team Grants

The Orange Coast College Staff Development office will be offering $1000 Team Grants this year. These grants are dedicated to groups of faculty and/or staff who wish to create a retreat, workshop or conference that serves a professional development need. Any group of five or more classified staff, faculty or managers can apply for these grants, which are worth $1,000. Forms are available from the Staff Development Office or you can complete this interactive form and submit to Staff Development. This form must be submitted to the Staff Development office two months before the actual event, in order to process all necessary paperwork.

Dr. John D. Renley Faculty Scholarship
The Foundation has three $1,000 faculty scholarships available – one for each college, for projects to be completed in the spring, 2009. The committee is currently reviewing the applications.

Vice President of Instruction’s Office Conference Team Grants

• Teams of 4-6 can apply.
• Applications will be sent out via alluser email for the President’s Team Conference Grant and will be distributed in all faculty mailboxes for the Vice President of Instruction’s Team Conference Grant.
• The President’s Team Conference Grant will be composed of faculty, staff and/or managers to attend a conference that focuses on enrollment, recruitment and retention. You can identify a conference that you believe fits these criteria.
