The Artful Table

Come to the OCC wordworking lab with your enthusiasm and a desire to create a harvest table full of heirloom treenware and trivets.  We’ll be making five different items no kitchen or dining room should be without: salt and pepper shakers, stirring and tasting spoons, rolling pins, spice cellars and tea caddies are some of the items we will be crafting by hand in the nicest hardwoods available anywhere.  Everything will be provided, including the wood and food-safe wood finish. We will start with instruction in the safe operation, two basic working power tools and non-powered hand tools!  The focus will be on learning to find the artist inside you while building a few beautiful things as well as gifts for your friends and family.  All skill levels are welcome.
