The Faculty Academy is a two-year program for new full-time faculty at Orange Coast College. After an introductory orientation for the First-Year Faculty, both First-Year and Second-Year Faculty will meet together four Fridays each semester.  Lunch will be served at noon,  followed by a two-hour program.  Sessions focus on curriculum development, professional development, opportunities for broader campus engagement and innovative teaching and learning strategies. Other interested faculty are welcome to attend individual workshops. Faculty may earn three hours of salary advancement credit by signing up for these sessions through the Staff Development Office.  Unless otherwise noted, Faculty Academy sessions will be held in Captain's Table.
