Volunteer for OCC through the Alumni and Friends Association. Reach out and make a difference. The Alumni & Friends Association offers a wide variety of volunteer opportunities; chances are there is something for you. It is the efforts of loyal Pirates that make our programs so successful. You have something valuable to offer. The Alumni & Friends Association is a membership-based organization that relies on its members to support its programs and activities.
When you volunteer your time to the Alumni Association, you become part of a very special family, one that nurtures each of its members' growth. You may form friendships that last a lifetime, or find just the right career opportunity through networking.
Another way to volunteer is to become an Alumni & Friends Board of Directors member. Being on the board will help you acquire leadership skills that prove invaluable in the business world. In the end, you'll walk away with a sense of accomplishment, knowing that you truly helped better the lives of OCC students and alumni. The Board of Directors meets 6 times a year on Tuesday evenings.
