George Blanc served as Orange Coast College's dean of economic development and community education for 22 years. He continues to teach small business classes at OCC and works as a consultant for small businesses. Blanc earned a B.S. degree in business administration from California State University, Los Angeles, and an M.S. in business from University of Southern California.

Danielle Scane, BA MS has diverse fortune 500 corporate back ground and college teaching experience. She owned and operated her own restaurant in Sedona, AZ and produced and sold baked goods to Whole Foods Markets in four states, Mother's Markets, and independent retailers. Currently, in addition to teaching full-time at Orange Coast College, she is a certified personal trainer, yoga and Pilates instructor who produces and distributes yoga dvds.

Gabriella Fernandez is an Adjunct Instructor of Business and Computer Information Systems at OCC and is an international speaker on e-commerce, business processes, and business systems. She is the founder of Que1.com, a consulting firm specializing in business systems and featuring online business software training.

Jim Hodge manages Union Bank of California's Newport Beach office where he works with business lenders and bankers in the Orange County area. His banking career spans more than 16 years.  He has a bachelor's degree in business administration from California State University Fullerton, where he majored in business finance with an emphasis in investments.  

Brandon Jones is a Business Development Officer with Union Bank. Prior to joining Union Bank almost two years ago, he owned his own small business. Previously, he worked in Premier Banking with Bank of America as well. He holds a degree in Finance from Loyola Marymount University.

Stephen Leung joined the Small Business Administration, Santa Ana District Office as Business Development Specialist in September 2007. He became Acting Lender Relation Specialist in June 2008. Prior to joining the SBA, Stephen served as CFO of a beverage company in CA for 15 years. Stephen was an executive with an international bank in Hong Kong for 12 years before immigrating to America in 1990. He holds a BA in Economics and an MBA with an emphasis in Finance from Texas A&M and University of Illinois, respectively.

Marketing Track

Her areas of expertise include the use of social media in PR, the role of corporate social responsibility (CSR) in brand-building, as well as merger and acquisition communications. Cara co-founded WunderMarx|PR in 2002 and has grown it into one of the top four PR agencies in Orange County, Calif. Before launching WunderMarx|PR, Cara held communications management positions at the City of Anaheim Public Utilities, Benjamin Group/BSMG Worldwide and Ethentica.

Dennis L. Morgan is an Associate Professor of Marketing at OCC and is a national speaker, author, writer and marketing consultant.
