The Orange Coast College Annual Fund is an unrestricted educational fund that helps provide the margin of excellence to campus programs -setting us apart from other leading community colleges. Almost all of OCC’s funding is tied to specific activities such as instruction and student services. Only a small portion of the overall college budget is available for innovation and development.
We depend on our donors -- alumni, parents, faculty, staff, and friends -- to help us meet college needs.
How are Annual Fund contributions used?
The Orange Coast College Foundation Board of Directors and the college president direct Annual Fund proceeds to unmet, high-priority campus needs. Some examples of projects and programs funded in the past through Annual Fund contributions are:
- Faculty Fellowships
- Guest lecturers
- Student/community events and ceremonies
- Facility/equipment enhancements and improvements
- Seed money for Development activities
