Men's basketball tops Moorpark, 79-67

MOORPARK - Steven Cornett scored a game-high 29 points to lead the Orange Coast College men's basketball team to its first win of the season -- a 79-67 road victory over Moorpark on Wednesday night.
Tyler Hentzen added 16 points for the Pirates (1-2), while Cameron Wise added eight.
After jumping out to a 37-32 lead in the first half, OCC controlled the pace of the game and never allowed the Raiders back into the contest, outscoring them 42-35 in the second half.
OCC will return to action in the Citrus Tournament on Nov. 24 against Chaffey, beginning at 3 p.m.
