COSTA MESA - Three Orange Coast College men's soccer players earned first-team, All-Orange Empire Conference honors and two others were selected for second-team honors.
Goalkeeper Alex Roberts, forward Juan Meza and defender Yuuki Irei were selected for this year's first-team, All-OEC.
Roberts (left) was third in among all conference goalkeepers with a 1.07 goals against average, allowing just 13 goals over 1,072 minutes of conference action.
Meza (right) led the Pirates with eight goals and one assist (17 points), 10th among OEC goal-scorers.
Irei (left) was a defensive force for the Pirates. His play helped the team in allowing just 20 conference goals, the third-fewest among all teams.
Second-team honors for the Pirates went to defender Grant Almquist and midfielder John Clark.
Almquist (left) joined Irei on one of the top defensive units Orange Coast has sported in quite some time.
Clark (right) scored three goals and added an assist for the Pirates and showed his diversity by playing all over the field, depending on the situation.
