Women's Tennis: Pirates double-up Cuyamaca

EL CAJON - The Orange Coast College women's tennis team improved to 2-0 with a 6-3 nonconference win against host Cuyamaca College on Tuesday.
The Pirates (2-0) earned four singles wins, led by Jaleh Mazaheri and K.D. Doran, who each lost just one game in their straight-set wins. Evelyn Wallace (6-3, 6-4) and Mahtab Davatolhagh (6-3, 6-0) also swept through their singles competition.
In doubles, Mazaheri and Morton breezed through the Coyote duo of Jovita Sanders and Jenny Blair, 8-3, while Wallace and Doran made even quicker work of Cuyamaca's Krista DeLille and Victoria Hahn, 8-1.
OCC will host Palomar on Thursday, beginning at 2 p.m.
