Men's Basketball: Cornett earns first-team, All-OEC honors

 COSTA MESA - Steve Cornett, a sophomore center on the Orange Coast College men's basketball was a first-team selection on this year's All-Orange Empire Conference team.
The 6-foot-7, 220-pound sophomore averaged 17.1 points (third-best in the OEC) and 8.3 rebounds per game (fifth-best in the OEC) as he led the young and inexperienced Pirates (16-14) back to the playoffs for the second straight season.
Last year, Cornett played in 32 games and averaged 9.4 points and 5.6 rebounds per game.
