Women's Tennis: Pirates blank Fullerton

COSTA MESA - The Orange Coast College women's tennis team remained unbeaten with a 9-0 Orange Empire Conference win over Fullerton on Thursday.
Leading the way for the Pirates (9-0, 6-0 in OEC) was Mahtab Davatolhagh, who lost just one game en route to her 6-1, 6-0 win over Hornet opponent Michelle Hoang.
Other singles wins came from Jaleh Mazaheri (6-1, 6-2), Evelyn Wallace (6-2, 6-0), Heather Morton (6-4, 7-6), K.D. Doran (6-0, 6-3) and Diane Pham (6-7, 6-3, 6-4).
In doubles, the teams of Mazaheri/Morton (8-5), Wallace/Doran (8-4) and Pham/Davatolhagh (8-3) also posted victories for the Pirates.
OCC will return to action on Thursday at Irvine Valley, beginning at 2 p.m.
