MISSION VIEJO - The Orange Coast College women's tennis team saw its season-long win streak come to an end as Saddleback topped the Pirates 7-2 on Wednesday in an Orange Empire Conference makeup match from March 20.
The two lone wins for the Pirates (11-1, 8-1 in conference) came from singles twosome of Jaleh Mazaheri and Mahtab Davatolhagh.
Mazaheri lost just three games to Erina Hung en route to a 6-2, 6-1 win, while Davatolhagh rallied late to top Summer Wallin, 2-6, 6-2, 7-5.
The Pirates will play at El Camino on Thursday and at Santa Ana next Tuesday before hosting the Orange Empire Conference championships, beginning on April 17.
