Men's Soccer: Pirates rally to top Moorpark, 2-1

MOORPARK - The Orange Coast College men's soccer team picked up its first win of the season with a 2-1 victory over host Moorpark in nonconference action on Friday.
After falling behind 1-0 in the 38th minute, the Pirates (1-1) evened the score when Anders Zimmerman took a pass from Matt Blank and slipped a shot past the Moorpark goalie in the game's 40th minute.
Fourteen minutes into the second half, OCC took the lead for good when Kyle Schneekluth ripped a shot into the back of the net off a feed from Zimmerman.
Dane Fernandez notched five saves to pick up the win for the Pirates, who travel to Palomar on Tuesday, beginning at 4 p.m.
