SANTA ANA - Despite being shorthanded for most of the second half, the Santa Ana College men's soccer team rallied from a late deficit to top visiting Orange Coast, 3-2, on Friday in Orange Empire Conference action.
Jarred Balbas got the Pirates on the scoreboard first, ripping a shot into the back of the net in the game's 25th minute.
After SAC tied the game, Brady Condon helped Coast (5-4-3, 1-2-1 in conference) regain the lead at 2-1, but the Dons, who had to play a man down because of a red card, used a couple of defensive miscues and turned them into two late goals to win the game.
OCC returns to action on Tuesday at home against Cypress, beginning at 3 p.m.
