RIVERSIDE -- The Orange Coast College women's soccer team ripped off three goals in the game's first 15 minutes and went on for a 5-0 road win at Riverside on Tuesday in Orange Empire Conference action.
Loren Kortizija, Beth Krikorian and Cassie Knox each found the back of the net early on and the Pirates (2-7-2, 2-4-2 in conference) never looked back.
Before the first half would be completed, Teresa Warner and Shannon Arnold each added goals of their own. Warner, Stephenie Brown and Tisha Martin each added assists for Coast, while the goalie tandem of Katie Johnson (three saves in the first half) and Heather Bystrom (two saves in the second half) kept the Tigers (1-10-1, 1-6-1) off the scoreboard.
OCC returns to action on Friday at home against Saddleback, beginning at 3 p.m.
