Women's Water Polo: Pirates' rally falls short

 COSTA MESA - The Orange Coast College women's water polo team managed to give visiting Fullerton a scare in the fourth quarter, but it was the Hornets who posted a 9-7 Orange Empire Conference win on Wednesday afternoon.
Trailing 9-4 in the fourth, the Pirates (10-9, 2-2 in OEC) charged back with three straight goals, but could not get any closer.
DeeJaye Trobman, Annie Le (pictured left) and Samantha Lane all had two goals for the Pirates, who next play at Santa Ana on Wednesday, beginning at 3 p.m.
