Cross Country -- OEC Championships cancelled

Due to poor air quality in the Brea area as well as throughout Southern California, Friday's Orange Empire Conference Cross Country Championships has been cancelled.
Because of the cancellation, all OEC teams will qualify for next week's Southern California Championships, slated for Saturday, Nov. 3 at 10 a.m. at Irvine Park in Orange.
The Orange Coast College women's cross country team is the 11-time defending conference champion, but a quest for 12 in a row will have to wait until next year. The men's team won last year's OEC Meet as well.
