Men's Tennis: Pirates blank Fullerton

FULLERTON -- The Orange Coast College men's tennis team improved to 4-0 overall following Tuesday's 9-0 sweep over host Fullerton in both team's Orange Empire Conference opener.
Straight-set wins in singles were posted by Gio Villicana (6-1, 6-1), Landon Draper (6-1, 6-1), Kevin Kordestani (6-0, 6-0), Andy Ong (6-1, 6-0), Kevin Tran (6-2, 6-2) and Kevin Saenz (6-1, 6-0).
In doubles, Draper and Tran posted an 8-6 win, while Kordestani and Ong prevailed 8-4 and Saenz and Raz Gouneili were victorious, 8-2.
OCC returns to action on Thursday at Cerritos, beginning at 2 p.m.
