Women's Tennis: Eleven in a row for the Pirates!

FULLERTON -- The winning streak has now reached 11 in a row for the Orange Coast College women's tennis team following Thursday's 7-2 Orange Empire Conference win over host Fullerton.
The first-place Pirates (11-0, 6-0 in conference), were led by five straight-set singles wins by Brittany Bass (6-0, 6-1), Brittnie Furuvald (6-1, 6-0), Evelyn Wallace (6-1, 6-3), Kalin Eshelman (6-1, 6-0) and Jasmine Mathieson (6-4, 6-1).
In doubles, the teams of Bass/Furuvald and Wallace/Eshelman each blanked the Hornet opposition, 8-0.
OCC returns home to face Riverside on Tuesday, beginning at 2 p.m.
