Women's Volleyball: Pirates make quick work of San Bernardino Valley

COSTA MESA -- It took less than an hour for the Orange Coast College women's volleyball team to earn its sixth win over the season, thanks to a 25-7, 25-9, 25-10 nonconference win over visiting San Bernardino Valley on Wednesday night.
Freshman outside Briana Fields led the Pirates (6-0) with nine kills.
The Pirates return to action on Friday night at 6 p.m. against Mt. San Antonio College (7-1). The Mounties managed to end OCC's four-year run as Santa Ana Tournament champions with a 25-19 win in the semifinals on Saturday.
