Men's Soccer: Pirates slam Rustlers, 6-0

HUNTINGTON BEACH -- A five-goal outburst over a 13-minute span of the second half helped lift the visiting Orange Coast College men's soccer team past Golden West, 6-0, in Orange Empire Conference action on Tuesday. With the score 1-0 at the half, OCC (10-6-3, 6-2-3 in conference), Scotty Locken and Mitch Williams each scored two goals to highlight the 5-0 second-half run. Marco Ramirez and Toshi Fujimura also scored for the Pirates in the game, while the Coast defense held the Rustlers to just one shot on goal. Ramirez also dished out two assists, while single assists were provided by Gustavo Ibarra and John Shinjo. The Pirates return to action on Friday against rival Santa Ana at the OCC Soccer Complex, beginning at 3 p.m.
