Baseball: Time change for memorial service

COSTA MESA -- Orange Coast College will host a memorial service for redshirt sophomore catcher Jourdan Watanabe on Sunday, March 8, at 3:30 p.m. on the school's baseball field, according to head coach John Altobelli.
Food and drinks will be provided for the event as hundreds of friends and family members are anticipated to be in attendance for the service.
Attendees are asked to bring blankets or beach chairs to sit in the grass at Wendell Pickens Field. Casual “baseball game attire” is suggested. Watanabe, 20, died Friday. Authorities have not determined a cause of death.
