Men's Tennis: Pirates blank Fullerton, again

FULLERTON -- For the second time in a week, the Orange Coast College men's tennis team posted a 9-0 Orange Empire Conference win over the Fullerton College Hornets. The latest victory came on Tuesday at Fullerton College.
Three singles players -- Laurent Minguez, Yannick Lepage and Kevin Saenz -- each swept their matches without losing a game, while a near bagel-bagel performance was turned in by Nick Stuart (6-1, 6-0). Other solid wins were posted by Brad Fisher (6-3, 6-1) and Feliz Demiro (6-3, 6-2).
In doubles, Minguez/Demiro (8-1), Saenz/Brian Nguyen (8-1) and Fisher/Stuart (8-3) each cruised to victory.
OCC (9-2 overall, 4-2 in OEC) returns to action on Thursday against Glendale (AZ) in a nonconference matchup, beginning at 2 p.m.
