Men's Tennis: Pirates blank Glendale (AZ) 9-0

COSTA MESA -- The Orange Coast College men's tennis team posted a 9-0 nonconference win over visiting Glendale (AZ) College on Thursday.
Leading the way for the Pirates (10-2) was No. 1 singles player Laurent Minguez, who did not lose a game in singles (6-0, 6-0), then partnered up with Felix Demiro and swept in doubles, 8-0.
Not to be outdone, Demiro also notched a perfect 6-0, 6-0 win in singles.
Other straight-set wins came from Brad Fisher (6-1, 6-1), Yannick Lepage (6-2, 6-1), Kevin Saenz (6-1, 6-2) and Nick Stuart (6-1, 6-3).
In doubles, the teams of Fisher/Lepage and Saenz/Marc Cesar each posted 8-1 victories.
The Pirates return to action on Friday at home against Mt. San Jacinto at 2 p.m. Their next Orange Empire Conference matchup will be on Tuesday at home against Riverside, also at 2 p.m.
