Track and Field: Several Pirates qualify for SoCal Finals

WALNUT -- This weekend's Southern California Track and Field Championships will be well populated with athletes wearing orange and blue, thanks to the solid performances turned in during last weekend's prelims, held at Mt. San Antonio College.
The following list is all OCC athletes who have qualified for the finals of the SoCal Championships.
MEN
Luis Gallardo III -- 800 meters
Russell Westphal -- 5,000
Donovan Toban -- 110 Hurdles, Long Jump, Triple Jump, 400 Relay
Justin Rovin -- 400 Hurdles, 1,600 Relay

The top four in all lane races, including the 800, will qualify for the upcoming State Meet. The top six competitors in all lap races and all field events will also qualify for the State Meet.
