COSTA MESA -- The Orange Coast College men's soccer team dropped to 3-3 overall with a 2-0 nonconference loss at home to L.A. Harbor on Tuesday.
Both teams battled to an even draw for most of the first half before a Harbor player was tripped inside the scoring box by OCC goalkeeper Brian Rippeto, giving the Seahawks a penalty kick. From there, Moises Balderas drove the PK into the lower-left corner to give the guests a 1-0 lead.
Early in the second half, the Seahawks (4-1-1) capped off the day's scoring when Carlos Arroyo buried a shot into the upper-right corner to make it 2-0 in the 49th minute.
Rippeto finished the game with seven saves, while Seahawks' keeper Greg Williams, came up with six saves.
OCC will return to action on Tuesday at Cerritos College, beginning 4 p.m.
