Cross Country: Pirates control things at Coast Classic

COSTA MESA -- The Orange Coast College men's and women's cross country teams gave their own personal tour of the Fairview Park courses on Saturday during the 2009 Coast Cross Country Classic, winning both team events with relative ease. 
On the women's side, led by a victorious Kimone Hewitt (pictured left), the Pirates toppled the 18-team field with a team score of 24 points, while Mt. San Antonio took second overall with 76 points.
On the men's side, it too was a sea of orange early on as five top-10 finishes -- led by runner-up Sergio Olivarrias (pictured right) lifted the Pirates to a winning score of 29 in the 21-team field. San Bernardino Valley came in second with 84.
