COSTA MESA - Reggie Brown, sophomore guard for the Orange Coast College men's basketball team, will attend Cal State San Bernardino in the fall, according to Pirates' head coach Steve Spencer. "Reggie is one of the best clutch performers I have ever coached at any level," Spencer said. "He hit many big shots for us over a two-year span." Last year, Brown averaged 12 points per game for the Pirates -- second-most on the team. The 6-foot-5 guard also hit 68 3-pointers, averaged 4.2 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game as OCC (22-11) advanced to the Southern California Regionals. "Reggie was under-recruited and the Coyotes got a steal," Spencer said. "Reggie made great progress in his two years at OCC. He went from a fourth or fifth option in high school to a go-to guy in college. Not many players are able to make that leap and Reggie did."
