Men's soccer drops OEC opener to Riverside

RIVERSIDE - The Orange Coast College men's soccer team lost a 1-0 decision to host Riverside on Tuesday in both teams' Orange Empire Conference opener.
Both teams were held scoreless for the first half before Julio Salvatierra found the back of the net for the Tigers in the 62nd minute.
Alex Roberts notched four saves in a losing effort for the Pirates (4-4-1, 0-1 in OEC).
OCC will return to action on Friday at home against Santiago Canyon, beginning at 3 p.m.
