ADOPT-A-FAMILY PROGRAM OFFERS OPPORTUNITY DRAWINGS

Get a chance to a HP mini laptop computer or a wine-tasting weekend while you provide some holiday cheer to a struggling single parent who is also trying get an education at OCC. The EOPS/CARE Adopt-A-Family program is sponsoring an Opportunity Drawing to raise money to purchase food, supplies and gifts for needy students and their children. Individuals, organizations and groups on and off campus can also personally Adopt-A-Family for the holidays.

Faculty, staff and students can purchase tickets for the Adopt-A-Family Opportunity Drawing by making a cash or check donations (checks payable to the “OCC Foundation” with “Adopt-A-Family” in the memo). Place checks in Jennifer LaBounty’s mailbox or bring funds to the EOPS Office located on Watson Hall’s 4th floor no later than Friday, Nov. 20th.

Tickets are $3 each, two for $5, five for $10 or 15 for $20. Prizes include tickets to Disneyland and Sea World, as well as other donated items.
