OCC BASEBALL SPONSORS ANNUAL PAT & PHYLLIS GOLF TOURNAMENT NOV. 9

The 3rd Annual Pat and Phyllis Memorial Golf Tournament will take place on Monday, Nov. 9th, at the Strawberry Farms Golf Club starting at 10:30 a.m. Registration begins at 9:00 a.m.
Tournament options include a single player, for $300, which includes 18 holes of golf, golf cart, lunch, dinner, tee prizes, long drive contest and “closest to the pin” prizes. A combination “hole sponsor/foursome” is $1,250. Donors can sponsor a hole without golf for $250 or simply enjoy dinner for $50. Dinner will be served at 3:30 p.m.
The tournament is named for head baseball coach John Altobelli’s mother, Pat Altobelli, and mother-in-law, Phyllis Reuber. Pat and Phyllis–both huge OCC baseball fans–died within two days of each other in 2006 of unrelated causes.
The tournament will also honor the memory of redshirt sophomore Jourdan Watanabe who died tragically last year at the age of 20. The team went on to win the 2009 state baseball championship for the first time since 1980.
