CLASSES IN EBAY, ACUPRESSURE, AND BECOMING A NOTARY BEGIN SOON

Interested in acupressure, selling on eBay or becoming a notary? OCC Extended Education is sponsoring a variety of non-credit workshops that begin this weekend.

“How to Sell on Ebay” will be offered on Saturdays, Nov. 7 and 14, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. in Social Science 105. Fee is $65. “Accupressure for All,” will show participants how to apply pressure on the body to relieve pain and stress. The class meets from Nov. 7th through Dec. 19th, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Music 101. Fee is $59.

Two classes for notaries are slated Saturday, Nov. 7th. “Notary in One Day” for first-time notaries, will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in Business Ed 101A. The fee of $80 includes materials.

“Renewing Notaries,” is a refresher course for notaries followed by the state exam. The class meets from 12:30 to 4:00 p.m. in Business Ed 101A. Class fee is $80, plus a $40 check payable to the “Secretary of State” for the exam. The test also requires a photo ID, two pencils and a passport color photo. Live Scan fingerprints are required after participants pass the exam.
