EOPS

Dear EOPS student:

The EOPS staff is very excited to start a new semester with you and we are here to help you reach your academic goals. To help you accomplish this, here’s an important tool for success: the semester calendar. If you have never used a calendar before, you will find this resource very useful. Knowing important college dates and deadlines is a part of your academic success. As a result, your compliance with the EOPS Program and its regulations is imperative to your continued success in the program.

EOPS is a state funded program and you are required by the state to follow EOPS rules and regulations and you have already signed a contract agreeing to do this during the EOPS Intake/Orientation. However, we want to help you remember these important dates for this semester.

· Remember, you must have an updated Academic Plan on file, so schedule an appointment soon to see your counselor

· You need TWO appointments and the Academic Progress Report (APR) ON TIME in order to fulfill the three appointment requirements EACH SEMESTER. This allows you to be eligible for Book Service, Priority Registration and other EOPS benefits

For more success this semester:

· Please remember to arrive early as our campus is busy and parking is limited

· Print out your class schedule before the beginning of the semester and have it handy

· Please, always check our EOPS website which is under Student Services on the OCC web page; you will find the calendar, APR form and much more information you will need to continue in the EOPS program

· Check your MyOCC Gmail for the latest information from the EOPS Office

· If you are new to the campus and are unaware of your class location, check the campus map on the OCC Webpage under Google Search
