Support Services
Counseling is an integral part of the services offered by the Disabled Students’ Center. Each student is encouraged to meet with the DSC staff to plan his/her academic schedule, and to become oriented to the campus to ensure a positive learning experience. Counseling for vocational concerns is also available.
|
All special support services for students with disabilities must relate to the specific disability of the student.
As an example, a student who has use of his/her upper extremities but uses a wheelchair may not be eligible for note-taking assistance or extended time on tests. The appropriate support service will be determined by the Disabled Students' Center counselor. |
