Barbara Byus Memorial Educational Theatre Scholarship

Criteria: Theatre Arts major that wishes to go into teaching, may also be awarded for play writing.  Students selected via nominations from faculty in the department.

Dance Awards

Criteria: STUDENTS DO NOT APPLY FOR THIS SCHOLARSHIP.
The entire cast of OCC Student Dance Concert performers makes selection.  Recipients are participants in the concert.
Students need to be enrolled in 3.0 units in the spring and have a 3.0 GPA

Dorothy Duddridge Dance Scholarship

Criteria: STUDENTS DO NOT APPLY FOR THIS SCHOLARSHIP
Award is given to one Dance student based on excellent work in the OCC Dance Program who is taking the full curriculum of courses the Dance Program offers.  Students need to be enrolled in 3.0 units in the spring and have a 3.0 GPA

IDEAS Scholarship

Criteria: The project encourages students to reach outside their single area of study, formulate teams and work together toward a common goal:  drawing on each team member's expertise, talents and inspiration.  Entries are selected by OCC Department chairpersons/representatives.

Ike Royer Memorial Scholarship for Black & White Traditional Photography

        Criteria: Students who use black & white photography their
        photographic studies.  Photos must be printed on silver gelatin paper.
        Students are selected via the application and a portfolio review.

James Greenhalge Music Scholarship

James Nicholas Plumb Memorial Scholarship

John McEnary Memorial Music Scholarship

Tap Legacy Award in Memory of Ted Gatto

Criteria:  Outstanding tap dancer who through his/her creativity in choreography/improvisation or performance in the OCC student dance concert advances tap dance as an art form.  3.0 units required in the spring with a cumulative 3.00 GPA

Award is given to a Dance student who has demonstrated great skill or progress in a world dance choreography for the OCC Student Dance Concert.  Students need to be enrolled in 3.0 units in the spring and have a 3.0 GPA
