Every OCC Student belongs to the Associated Students of
Orange Coast College (ASOCC), which is led by your Student Government of Orange Coast College (SGOCC) and representatives. We are composed of the Student Senate and three operational wings, which are Leadership and Governance, Fiscal Affairs and College Life. Each wing operates under the jurisdiction of the Student Senate.
ASOCC receives funds from two enterprises: the OCC Bookstore and the ASOCC Recycling Center. The monies from these enterprises, along with the College Service Charge, funds a variety of co- and extra-curricular programs and services, as well as the ASOCC programs and activities that are designed to always benefit the OCC students, faculty and campus.
The guiding motto of ASOCC is Students Helping Students. We believe that the wise use of our funds will enhance the experience that every student has while attending Orange Coast College. We support all OCC programs and activities and we hope you will too.
