OCC’s official means of communication with students is through their student email account. Your student email (eg. email@example.com) can be accessed through your MyOCC Account.
This is a very important tool that the campus will use to communicate with you on about official campus business. Your instructors will also likely email you at this address as well.
To check your Gmail, log into your MyOCC Account and click the blue link that says "Gmail Account."
Forwarding your Student Email (Gmail)
1. From your Gmail, click “Settings” at the top right of the page.
2. Select the tab called “Forwarding and POP/IMAP.”
3. Under “Forwarding,” select “Forward a copy of incoming mail to” and type your email address in the blank provided.
4. Click “Save Changes” at the bottom of the page.
NOTE: OCC cannot be responsible for any emails that fail to forward in a timely manner. Students should continue to check their MyOCC student Gmail account for accurate and updated communications from OCC.
