Student computing at OCC is supported by Administrative Services and the Information Technology Department. The fundamental goal is to provide students with easy, effective computer access, printing services, flexible wireless networking, and many other digital resources and tools. We are proud to serve OCC students with over 1300 student accessible computers on the campus.
The primary open access facility on campus is located in the John R. Clark Computing Center (building 73
). Additional open access to computers is also available in the Learning Resource Center, the campus library. Besides these two primary open access facilities there are more than 30 computer equipped academic labs and student service areas on campus.
At both the John R. Clark Computing Center and the Learning Resource Center (the library) students will find both PCs and Macintosh computers available. Document and image scanning services are available at no charge. Photocopying services (black and white only) and document and image printing services (in both color and black and white) are available for a nominal fee. There is a campus wide pay for print system for both printing and photocopying.
Staff members are available in the John R. Clark Computing Center and the Learning Resource Center to answer your questions and help you gain or recover access to your Student Network Account. The Student Network Account is used to access computers on campus and to gain access to the campus wireless network.
OCC is proud to provide wireless networking access throughout most of the campus.
