Artists: Use Talent to Make a Living

OCC Workshop Will Share Tips on Business and Marketing

New or experienced artists can learn how to make a living using their artistic talent during a four-hour workshop on Saturday, March 8, sponsored by Orange Coast College Community Education. “How to Make a Living as an Artist” will cover topics including the wide variety of art fields available, steps to take to prepare for a career, and business and marketing tips that will help generate income.

The class will meet from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in Business Education 103. Registration is $65 and includes $15 for materials. Sign up online at or call (714) 432-5154. Registration can also be completed at the OCC Bursar’s Office at (714) 432-5880, x1. There is a $5 discount for OCC students.
